This policy explains what cookies are, which cookies this website uses, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can change your choice at any time. It applies together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as language, consent choices or session state) over a period of time. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags — this policy covers those as well.
2. Essential Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries are required for the site to work — for example, remembering your cookie choice, keeping the AI Advisor session, or pre-filling the assessment form after the Solution Finder. These are always active and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner. Legal basis: legitimate interest / contract performance under GDPR.
3. Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it — for example, which pages are most useful, how long people spend on the assessment form, or where they drop off. Analytics is OFF by default and only activates after you grant consent through the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent under GDPR.
Analytics provider: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-TT2FW7KLS9). Only after you grant Analytics consent do we load Google Analytics, which then receives technical and event data such as page views, navigation between pages, form starts, form submissions, successful enquiries and clicks on call, email, WhatsApp, consultation or quote buttons. IP anonymisation is enabled and no personal data from our forms — name, email address, telephone number, company or free-text message — is sent to Google. You can withdraw Analytics consent at any time via "Manage cookie preferences".
4. Functional Cookies
Functional cookies remember preferences that make the site more comfortable to use, such as your language selection on legal pages or the collapsed / expanded state of certain UI elements. These are OFF by default and activate only if you enable the Functional category in Cookie Preferences.
5. Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and the conversions they produce. This category is OFF by default and activates only after you grant Marketing consent in the cookie banner or preferences panel.
Advertising technology provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel). When — and only when — you grant Marketing consent, the Meta Pixel is loaded and may receive technical and event data about your interaction with this website, such as the page viewed, referrer, browser and device information, IP address as processed by Meta, and the fact that a Micro Kitchen enquiry was successfully submitted.
Chill&Bite does not intentionally send form personal data through the Pixel — no name, email address, telephone number, company, free-text message or lead reference is transmitted to Meta. Advanced Matching is not enabled.
You can disable Marketing cookies at any time via "Manage cookie preferences"; after withdrawal the Pixel is no longer loaded on subsequent page loads. Legal basis: consent under GDPR. Meta may process data outside the EEA under its own terms — see Meta's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
6. Cookie Lifetime
Cookies are either session cookies (removed when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (kept until they expire or you delete them). The Cookie Declaration below shows the retention period for each cookie we use.

8. Managing Cookies

Please note that disabling essential cookies may impair basic functionality of the website (for example, the AI Advisor or the assessment form).
9. Consent
When you first visit the site, a cookie banner asks for your choice. Non-essential categories are OFF until you click Accept All or enable them individually in the preferences panel. Your consent is stored locally on your device and can be withdrawn or changed at any time.
10. GDPR Compliance
This Cookie Policy is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive as transposed into Bulgarian law. Non-essential cookies are set only on the basis of freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, and can be withdrawn as easily as they are given.
